Max & Lubov Azria’s House

So yesterday while I was browsing through Pinterest, I came across a snapshot of fashion designer Max Azria’s home located in L.A. Curious as to how his whole home looked like, I went on to Harper’s Bazaar and I must admit I was completely blown away. Set against classical elements, each room in the home exudes a different feeling from theatrical, bold to utterly whimsical.

In the sitting room, colourful accents lend a playful touch to the space while an iridescent ceiling creates a striking focal point.

A banquette anchors a colourful gallery wall which adds a shot of personality to this space.

Laser cut chrome flower garlands add a fantastical touch to this space. While orange throw pillows enliven the chairs.

This high contrast hallway has a whimsical feel to it with a wall dedicated to Fornasetti plates.

In the foyer, a showstopping chandelier cascades onto a petrified wood table lending visual contrast and a theatrical feel.

In the dining room, a calming palette of grey is combined with mirror finishes and crystal for an elegant glamorous touch.

A custom made chandelier by interior designer Aly Daly illuminates an ultra mod pop art inspired space.

Tour the  whole home here.
